ADVANCED RECREATIONAL PLAYERS
- Players Born 2012-14 (THREE years experience)
- Currently playing RECREATIONAL HOCKEY at Advanced Level
GOOD PACE & INTENSITY MOTIVATE EACH PLAYER’S DESIRE TO SUCCEED
- The PEHS High Performance Hockey School has been developed by Coach Glenn to Maximize each Player’s Overall Skill, Motivation, Drive, Aggressiveness and Game Play
- An Intense and Extremely Challenging Winter School which will require Maximum Intelligence, Discipline and Stamina on each Player’s Part.
- The School will Encourage Players to Think in High Intensity Fast Paced Competitive Game like Situation
- Fundamentals and Improvement of Body Checking and the Skills Necessary to Initiate and Receive Body Contact
- Players will be taught to Defend Themselves with Evasive moves at the Point of Contact
- WE will work on the New or Improved Methods of Body Checking used in ALL ZONES.
- Body Positioning, Puck Protection, Angling and Puck Separation Strategies
- Speed, Agility and Balance Development as new or more Bodychecking comes into Play
- Winning One on One Battles, Set up Scoring Opportunities, Degree of Force
THE SESSIONS WILL BE TAUGHT AND THE PLAYERS WILL BE DIVIDED BY APPROPRIATE SKILL AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS WHEN NEEDED WITHIN THEIR OWN AGE GROUPS. EACH PLAYER WILL BE TOTALLY READY FOR AND THE REST OF THE SEASON, PLAYOFFS AND SPRING TRAINING.
